For the past 4 years, I have successfully managed and run the Front Desk at a cottage resort located in Cherry Valley, Prince Edward County, Ontario. These past few years have made me realize that I want to own and operate my own mini cottage getaway.

I'm looking at purchasing a property with enough acreage and lake access to get started. I'm hoping for some support in reaching this initial investment goal. I am currently looking at a few vacant lots in Bancroft and surrounding areas. This region would be ideal for short term stays as many people travel to Bancroft to take part in local festivals, camping, fishing, and hunting.

I have a plan to grow the business in stages. I hope to start a campsite or trailer site and then move into building cottage-style tiny homes with renewable resources, and ultimately, take them off the grid.
